Environment Policy
We are Revolting, but we aim to provide the highest possible service, whilst reducing our impacts on the environment as much as we can… The following are just a few of the areas we’re making a special effort:
- All paper used within our office is from sustainable sources - either post consumer recycled or from sustainably managed FSC certified forests, and we offer clients reduced cost services to encourage use of sustainable paper and card
- We’re aiming to only use soya based vegetable inks by 2010
- We minimise energy use in our office by doing the simple things – buying low energy products and switching lights and equipment off when not being used
- We make sure as many of our products as possible are reusable or recyclable
- We don’t like adding to the landfill mountain, so we reuse and recycle paper, cans, plastics and spare food is composted.
- We run an email only policy internally (no post-its!) and we now send all invoices electronically.
- We aim to send zero waste to landfill by end 2009
- We rarely use our cars and make a phone call or contact people by email when possible-it’s a better way, more time being creative, less time sitting in cars. We set a maximum car millage of 200 miles per month. However much we go over is deducted from next month’s allowance.
- Revolting endeavour to keep up to date with all relevant legislation and ensure that all our activities comply with environmental and other laws.
